Mix Diskerud scored the fourth goal for New York City FC vs Chicago Fire in the first round of matches in the new MLS season. The 25-year-old American midfielder received a perfect pass from Tommy McNamara, who had scored the opening goal for the visitors in the 10th minute of the game. As the ball was still floating in the box, Diskerud found some space, and blasted it past the helpless goalkeeper, who had no chance of stopping it.
