Drogba has the most goals since his debut on August 22. He scored in four of the five games he played during October.

Didier Drogba is once again the Etihad Airways Player of the Month award in the Major League Soccer for the month of October. Having finished the regular season with 11 goals in 11 games, Drogba has taken the league by storm and is ready to start the MLS Playoffs this Thursday against Toronto FC.

The 37-year-old Ivory Coast player found the back of the net in four of the five games that his team played in October. That included a brace against Toronto FC in the very last game of the regular season. Those two goals gave Montreal the win after trailing 0-1 and they came in only two minutes.

Drogba is on a league of his own

Drogba got 55.25 percent of the fan votes, leaving his other four competitors way behind him. In second place Fanendo Adi with 26.65 percent. Columbus Crew SC winger Ethan Finlay was third with 7.2%. New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan had 5.58 percent and FC Dallas playmaker Mauro Diaz down in fifth with 5.32 percent of the votes.

Drogba may not be missing Chelsea

Drogba has not lost any time adapting to a new league. He is only 11 goals behind Sebastian Giovinco, who finished the season as the leading scorer but played more than twice the games Drogba did. The veteran star is expected to have at least one more season with Montreal before calling it quits.

It seems like a Replay but it's not
