Cesena have proven that AC Milan shouldn’t take things lightly when they’ll entertain Auxerre at the San Siro in the UEFA Champions League.
The Rossoneri surprisingly lost 2-0 against Cesena in the Italian Serie A last weekend despite having Ronaldinho, Pato, and new signings Ibra and Robinho all lined up. Now as AC Milan prepares to host Auxerre in the Champions League, defender Luca Antonini has urged his side to do well.

Not forgetting that Auxerre stunned former UEFA Cup winners Zenith in the play-off, Luca Antonini told Milan Channel:

“Auxerre are cheeky. They run a lot. So our focus should be on doing well against the French side. We need to make a good impression in front of the fans who will follow us and support us.”

AC Milan have Spanish giants Real Madrid to face in Group G while Ajax look to be dangerous contenders as well. Dropping points against Auxerre on Wednesday night will only decline the Rossoneri’s momentum.
