After seeing himself fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford, Chicharito will leave the Red Devils on a season-long loan deal with Los Blancos

Mexican striker Javier Hernandez finally seals his Manchester United exit, but only on a season-long loan, signing for La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Chicharito joined the Red Devils back in 2010 under Sir Alex Ferguson's reign, but since the arrival of Dutch striker Robin Van Persie back in 2012, Hernandez has seen his role at the club diminish, falling down the pecking order at Manchester United.

The player underwent his Los Blancos medical on Monday, the transfer window deadline day, and now puts pen to paper on a contract that will see him play for Les Merengues until 2015, with Real Madrid having the option of buying Hernandez on a permanent deal.
