Herrera benches Javier Hernandez as Mexico get prepared to take on Cameroon in the World Cup

Mexico and Cameroon get prepared to face-off in only the second match of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, which kicked off on Thursday June 12.

The game sees the two remaining group A sides go head-to-head in an attempt to gain advantage in securing the second qualifying spot after Croatia lost to the host nation 3-1, with the Selecao favorites to grab top spot.

Miguel Herrera revealed his squad for the Friday clash and decided to bench Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, as the rumors predicted. Cameroon's side, however, bears no surprise as everyone from Samuel Eto'o, Alex Song, and Nkoulou all make the Indomitable Lions' starting eleven.
