How to watch Copa del Rey in the United Kingdom

Premier Sports has acquired the broadcasting rights to the Copa del Rey in the United Kingdom and Ireland, starting in December 2025 for three seasons. Under this deal, Spanish football fans can watch and stream live Copa del Rey games in the UK and Ireland from the round of 32 onwards.

Premier Sports’ Copa del Rey coverage includes the earlier stages of the competition up to, and including, the semi-finals and final. This marks a significant expansion of the broadcaster’s previous coverage, which was limited to the latter stages of the tournament.

UK and Ireland-based viewers can watch the tournament on Premier Sports’ linear television and digital platforms, namely the Premier Sports 1 channel and the Premier Sports Player (also referred to as the Premier Sports app) streaming service.

Subscribers can access the Copa del Rey as part of a standard Premier Sports package, which is available as an add-on through major television platforms such as Sky, Virgin Media, and Amazon Prime Video. To stream live Copa del Rey matches in the UK and Ireland, viewers require either the Premier Sports app or the streaming platform of a partnered TV provider, although a subscription is still required.

The Premier Sports app is available on Android smartphones, tablets, and TVs; iPads and iPhones; as well as smart TVs such as Samsung, LG, Fire TV, and more. The platform is also accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and the Sky Q and Virgin Media set-top boxes. Furthermore, the Premier Sports app supports Chromecast and AirPlay compatibility.
