Sky Italia’s non-exclusive UEFA Champions League rights in Italy have been extended until 2027 after a three-year renewal deal worth over $700 million. The pay-TV provider covers 185 out of the 203 Champions League games during the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons. Unlike in previous seasons, Sky Italia no longer sub-licenses matches to other channels - including its free-to-air channel TV8.
More details As such, all Champions League matches are exclusively broadcast and streamed on Sky’s linear channels and Sky’s digital platform, Sky Now.

Subscribers also have the option to watch Champions League matches live and on-demand in 4K HDR via Sky channel 213. However, to access this, viewers must ensure that Sky Ultra HD is active (or they have Sky Q via satellite). In addition to Champions League live streaming and TV broadcasts, Sky Italia subscribers in Italy get auxiliary live and on-demand content. Extra programming on Sky Italia’s linear and digital platforms includes replays of select matches, match analysis, game highlights, interviews with key players and coaches, and Champions League magazine shows.
Sky Italia has retained its linear and digital UEFA Europa League rights in Italy from 2024 to 2027 following a three-year deal. The commercial broadcaster covers all 189 matches per season from the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 versions of the Europa League. A limited number of matches are available on a free-to-air basis on public broadcaster Rai, which shows games on its free-to-air channel Rai 1.

As per its agreement with UEFA, Sky Italia offers comprehensive coverage of the Europa League across its linear TV and digital platforms. This includes live broadcasts and streams of games starting from the group stages to the final, as well as exclusive shoulder programming that adds additional value for subscribers. This programming includes pre- and post-match analysis, highlights, interviews, documentaries, and match replays.

Sky Italia’s broadcast coverage of Europa League matches is accessible through the network’s family of linear channels and its streaming service, Sky Now. Subscribers also have the option to watch some matches live and on-demand in 4K HDR via Sky channel 213. However, to access this, viewers must ensure that Sky Ultra HD is active or they have Sky Q via satellite.
Sky Italia is broadcasting selected matches from the European qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, excluding live coverage of Italy’s national team. The group stage runs from June to November 2025, with playoffs scheduled for March 2026.

Football Fans in Italy can watch up to seven Premier League matches live every round exclusively on Sky Italia’s linear TV networks or stream the EPL live on NOW, the broadcaster’s subscription-based OTT streaming service.

The list of games for each season in the three-year deal includes fixtures from Friday and Monday nights and the traditionally match-packed Christmas period. Digital satellite network Sky Sport 24 covers EPL highlights, news and additional insights, whereas exclusive stories are published on the network’s website and social media accounts.

Match previews and post-game analysis are part of the EPL’s package on Sky Italia, along with shows such as Premier League Remix and Premier League Stories. The media rights agreement between Sky Italia and The FA is reportedly worth $105 million or $35 million per year, and the broadcasts are available in San Marino and The Vatican. Users unable to watch the matches live can stream the Premier League on demand in Italy on the NOW app on their Android and iOS mobile devices and smart TVs.

Previously, Sky Italia held Premier League rights for the 2019-2022 cycle in a deal that involved six matches per weekend, or 235 games per season.
Sky Italia and Bundesliga International, a division of the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga have secured a four-year agreement which starts from the 2021/2022 season and runs through the conclusion of the 2024/2025 Bundesliga campaign.

Sky Italia will show hundreds of Bundesliga matches each season via its TV subscription channels as well as its OTT platforms.
More details In addition, to live matchday broadcasts, fans will be able to enjoy weekly highlights, “Bundesliga Weekly” programmes, and a special show focusing on the Bundesliga, “EuroShow”, that will be aired on Sky Sport24. The promotion and relegation play-offs will also be covered on this platform as well.
Sky Italia has continued its arrangement with Bundesliga International via a four-year deal starting from the 2021/2022 campaign until the end of the 2024/2025 season. The annual German Super Cup will be shown yearly on its subscription TV channels, plus fans will also be able to live-stream the via Sky’s OTT platforms.

The only place in Italy to watch live action from the German Cup is via Sky Italia. The pay-TV platform holds exclusive DFB Pokal Italian media rights from 2022-23 until the end of the 2025-26 season.

At least one match from every round of the competition is shown across Sky Italia’s catalogue of premium sports channels until the semi-finals, where both matches are shown as standard.

Fans in Italy can additionally use Sky Go, the platform’s streaming service, to livestream select matches from the German Cup. This service is available via a web browser and an app, which is available on iOS and Android devices. All German Cup coverage on Sky Italia includes Italian language commentary.
Sky Italia has agreed to a four-year deal with Bundesliga International through the 2024/2025 season. This will see weekly 2.Bundesliga matches offered on its subscription TV channels, plus fans will also be able to live-stream games via Sky’s OTT platforms.
Sky Italia is streaming a selection of international friendly football matches scheduled between March and June 2026. These games are part of UEFA’s rights package and serve as warm-up fixtures for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Fans can watch selected matches live on Sky’s pay-TV platform, with a number of friendlies also available free-to-air on TV8 and Cielo.

Sky Sport Football is a football-themed sports channel in Italy owned by Sky Italia. It broadcasts in HD and was introduced in 2018. Since its launch, it has telecast matches from major men’s and women’s football competitions, both live and as full replays. Sky Sport Football’s content has remained packed with matches and auxiliary programming over the years, even during season breaks. The rest of its content, aside from matches, has largely consisted of game highlights, documentaries, and classic events.
