Lesedi FM is a South African radio station owned and operated by the South African Broadcasting Corporation. It was launched back in 1960 and broadcasts its content in Sesotho language. Users can tune in to Lesedi FM in almost every region in South Africa, but the station’s main area of influence is that of the Free State.
The radio station’s format has seen talk shows and music coexisting with 60% of the airtime being used for debate, while the remaining 40% is used to program music. The radio station is considered as a contemporary music station, with a strong focus trending music and on covering daily news.
Lesedi FM has been available to listen on the South African FM band. Added to that, the radio station has been included in the SABC’s website for users to listen. Lesedi FM may also be available on satellite radio streaming services.
