The Uruguayan striker revealed the status of his relationship with the Brazilian ace, days after letting him take a penalty kick with Les Parisiens.

It seems like the controversy about who will take the spot kicks at PSG between Neymar and Edinson Cavani has come to an end, as the Uruguayan striker had no problem talking about the matter in a press conference.

Speaking after he arrived with Uruguay's National Team, the current top scorer in CONMEBOL's qualifiers admitted that things could have been solved earlier, but being Neymar the most expensive player ever made things more relevant than they actually were.

"It was just one of those football things. Sometimes these things get blow completely out of proportion, and everyone knows it happens in our line of work. We sorted it all out inside the locker room, it's been solved and we're cool with one another," Cavani explained.

Rumors claimed that Neymar's entourage & PSG's owner offered Cavani 1 million euros to let the Brazilian take all the penalties. The Uruguayan refused to collect that cash but eventually gave in by handing Neymar a spot kick this weekend.

Neymar & Cavani, arguing to take a penalty. The Uruguayan won the "battle", but missed the shot.

Cavani went on and placed the team's goals ahead of any personal dispute.

"The really important thing is that everyone is on the same page, whether it is in the national team or your club," the player concluded.
