Big Ten Network+ history, coverage, features
Big Ten Plus, also known as B1G+, is a subscription-based streaming service owned and operated by the Big Ten Network. The Big Ten Network is the official U.S. broadcaster for the Big Ten Conference’s collegiate sporting events, with B1G+ streaming non-televised matches and events from the conference.B1G+ is the successor to BTN2Go, the previous online streaming service that was available through the Fox Sports Go app. In 2019, following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, Big Ten Network content was removed from that platform. Consequently, BTN2Go was launched as its own app just before the start of the 2020s.
B1G+ streams over a thousand non-televised Big Ten Conference events; however, televised events are not available on this platform. Viewers can stream those televised events through the Fox Sports app or www.FoxSports.com.
Once subscribed, viewers can access Big Ten Plus in two ways. The first method is by visiting https://www.bigtenplus.com through a supported PC browser. The second and more common method is by downloading the B1G+ app, which is available on smartphones, tablets, streaming devices, and select game consoles.
