ESPN has acquired American North Super League (NSL) rights thanks to a multi-year agreement. Every season, subscription service ESPN+ streams 40 NSL matches live in the USA, including select playoffs and the final.

ESPN expects the NSL to attract a mature women’s soccer audience as the network adds the league to its portfolio, which already includes the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and English Women’s Super League (WSL) in several markets both in North and South America.

Subscribers in the U.S. can stream the NSL on ESPN+ live and on-demand online on web browsers, Android and iOS phones and tablets, smart TVs, set-top boxes and gaming consoles.

About Northern Super League

The Northern Super League (NSL; French: Super Ligue du Nord—SLN) is a Division I professional women's soccer league in Canada. The league is owned and operated by Project 8 Sports, Inc., an entity co-founded by former Canada women's national soccer team player Diana Matheson, who also serves as its chief executive officer. The league consists of six teams with inaugural season commencing in 2025.
