Broadcast Rights

Competitions available on RTBF Auvio Direct

French-language public service broadcaster RTBF airs live, free-to-air UEFA Europa League fixtures in Belgium under a rights agreement that covers the 2024-25 to 2026-27 seasons. This deal grants RTBF the rights to two Europa League and Conference League games, allowing the broadcaster to retain the first pick for matches.
Fans in Belgium can watch free-to-air UEFA Conference League matches in French live on Tipik. This is made possible by a broadcast rights deal secured by the RTBF-owned channel for the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons. Under this agreement, RTBF holds the rights to two Europa League and Conference League games per matchday, with the broadcaster retaining the first pick.
RTBF is the home of the Women's Champions League for French-speaking audiences in Belgium. The free-to-air broadcaster has the rights to the competition until the end of the 2029-30 season, with at least one match shown each game week throughout each season. On top of this one 'standard' match, all matches featuring Belgian teams can also be watched on RTBF, specifically through 'La Une' on linear television.

About

RTBF Auvio Direct history, coverage, features

RTBF Auvio is a free online streaming service owned by Radio-télévision belge de la Communauté française (RTBF) in Belgium.

The platform was launched by RTBF in 2016 to allow users to catch up on all programming owned by the broadcaster across their catalogue of channels - La Une, Tipik, La Trois and Arte Belgique.

In the years since the launch of the service, a ‘direct’ component has been added, which provides registered users with free access to live streaming of these same channels.

The programming across RTBF’s channels varies greatly, but live sport has played a prominent role on both Tipik and La Une in the past.

Over the years, both of these channels have provided live broadcasts of some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including multiple editions of the FIFA World Cup, the Olympic Games and the Formula One World Championship.

In terms of football coverage on these channels, fans can expect live French-language commentary, analysis and interviews with relevant players and managers. RTBF’s sports broadcasting team is vast, but names that regularly appear include Benjamin Deceuninck and Philippe Albert.

RTBF Auvio can be accessed directly online via all popular web browsers. Alternatively, it can also be downloaded for free as an app onto Android and iOS devices in Belgium.
