Televisa has successfully extended its free-to-air rights deal for the Mexican national team for an additional eight years, spanning the 2026-2034 TV rights cycle. This agreement covers several games, including FIFA World Cup qualifiers and El Tri’s friendly fixtures. This means soccer fans in Mexico can watch the Mexican national team’s 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifying games for free on Televisa as part of this deal.

This means soccer fans in Mexico can watch the Mexican national team’s 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifying games for free on Televisa as part of this deal. However, it should be noted that Televisa is not the sole broadcaster of Mexico’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers, sharing those rights with TV Azteca and Claro Sports. Televisa’s coverage will be available on its free-to-air channels, as well as on the pay-TV sports channel TUDN, which is also set to broadcast El Tri’s games in Mexico.

Televisa’s free-to-air channels, including Las Estrellas and Canal 5, are generally available on pay-TV cable, satellite, and streaming services. However, TV subscriptions are not required for these channels, making them accessible to the Mexican public. Additionally, viewers can stream Mexico’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Televisa’s free-to-air and pay-TV channels via the ViX streaming app and website.

While ViX is available for free, fans in Mexico need the subscription-based ViX Premium (formerly ViX+) to stream Televisa’s premium live sports catalog. Once subscribed, viewers can stream matches on ViX in Mexico using a variety of internet-connected devices.

This includes a PC or Mac via the streaming service’s official website. Subscribers can also download the ViX app to stream live FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Android or iOS smartphones and tablets. The app supports smart TVs and streaming devices, including Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung TV, and Apple TV, as well as select set-top boxes.

Meanwhile, TUDN is a pay-TV channel and requires a subscription to watch. The channel is available on ViX and through third-party TV providers such as Izzi, Sky, and Total Play. Cable companies with streaming services may also offer TUDN on their digital platforms. Fans in Mexico can stream TUDN and its El Tri coverage via TUDN En Vivo, the network’s live TV option available on its official website; however, a subscription account with a partnered TV provider is required to log in.
Fans in Mexico can watch live Liga MX games on TUDN and stream live matches on ViX, thanks to Televisa’s broadcast deal for Mexican top-flight football, securing the rights to the home fixtures of some of the biggest clubs. This includes Liga MX heavyweights such as América, Pumas, and Cruz Azul, as well as Santos, Atlas, Rayados, and Toluca, which fans can watch on the TUDN, Canal 5, and Canal 2 TV channels.

Additionally, while ViX is available for free, fans in Mexico need the subscription-based ViX Premium (formerly ViX+) to stream Televisa-licensed Liga MX fixtures. It should be noted that not all Televisa-licensed Liga MX matches are exclusive to the network. For example, during Apertura 2025, Necaxa’s matches were made available on ViX Premium, as well as on Claro Sports and TV Azteca.

ViX Premium subscribers may be able to stream more live Liga MX games in Mexico than those licensed to Televisa due to retransmission deals. Once subscribed, viewers can stream Liga MX on ViX in Mexico via a host of internet-connected devices.

Televisa is an official Liga MX Femenil broadcaster in Mexico, securing the rights to the home games of over five teams. This includes América, Cruz Azul, Pumas, Monterrey, Toluca, and Necaxa, with some home games exclusive to Televisa, while others are shared with other broadcasters. Thanks to this broadcast deal, fans in Mexico can stream live Liga MX games on the ViX streaming service, with TUDN, along with free-to-air channels Nu9ve and Las Estrellas, broadcasting select matches on TV.

To stream live Liga MX Femenil games on ViX, fans simply need to visit the platform’s official website via a supported browser. However, for most, the optimal method for streaming Liga MX Femenil games on ViX is through the ViX app.

The ViX app is available on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets via the Play Store and App Store, respectively. The app also supports smart TVs and streaming devices, including Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung TV, Apple TV, and more, as well as select set-top boxes.
