Sky Sports has secured an eight-year La Liga broadcast deal in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama until 2032. The commercial broadcaster’s contract covers the 2024-25 to 2031-32 LaLiga seasons and is reportedly worth over $560 million (€500 million). Users in Mexico and Central America can watch and stream all 380 LaLiga games live every season on Sky Sports’ linear channels and using Sky’s OTT streaming platform, Sky+.

Subscribers must select the “Sky Gold” package to view football matches from Spain’s top flight, with some matches available in HD. Sky+, previously known as Blue To Go, offers streaming of LaLiga matches on mobiles and tablets (Android and iOS) and desktop and laptop computers (PCs and Macs in web browsers).

Sky Sports Futbol is a subscription service owned and operated by Sky Mexico. This service was launched in the early 2000s under the name Sky Planeta Fútbol, but it was later dubbed as Sky Sports Fútbol in 2017. As its name states, Sky Sports Futbol covers football competitions from around the world, whether they involve clubs or national teams.

Sky Sports Futbol has offered most live football games for the leagues it covers thanks to its carrier’s capability to add overflow channels when necessary. Up to 20 live feeds have been available on Sky Sports Futbol at any given time. Additional coverage has also been provided via highlights shows and movies.

Over the years, Sky Sports Fútbol has held exclusive broadcasting rights to some of the top competitions in the world. Some of the competitions aired on this service have included the English Premier League, the EFL Championship, the Spanish Primera División, the German Bundesliga, the FA Cup, the Spanish Copa del Rey, and the FA Women’s Super League, to name a few. International tournaments have also been available on Sky Sports Futbol, including the UEFA Euro, the Copa América, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, UEFA Euro Qualifiers, UEFA Nations League games, and FIFA World Cup matches for both men and women.

All of Sky Sports Futbol’s channels are available in High Definition, although a downscaled version of those HD feeds might be available for users who have not been able to switch to HD.
