The England Football League One, better known as the Coca-Cola Football League 1 or simply League one is the third top division of English Football League system. The Football League One was founded in 2004, and it is currently being contested by 24 clubs. At the long run, the two best teams along with the winner of the play-offs enter in the Football League Championship; whereas the three lowest clubs in that division replace them in the League One. Eventually, the situation is no different for clubs at the bottom of the Coca-Cola Football League 1. The top 3 clubs of the League Two, along with the winner of the play-offs in that division, replace them.
