As part of this agreement, viewers in Germany can watch live UEFA Conference League fixtures on free-to-air linear channels RTL and Nitro.

2025-2029
RTL is a co-broadcaster of the 2. Bundesliga in Germany, securing the rights to the German second division under a deal covering the 2025-26 to 2028-29 seasons. At the start of this deal, the broadcaster exclusively aired the Saturday evening (domestic time) 2. Bundesliga matches, totaling 33 games per season.

Nitro is a free-to-air television channel in Germany that focuses predominantly on entertainment programming. RTL Deutschland owns the channel, which first launched in 2012 as RTL Nitro. In 2017, the broadcaster elected to change the name to Nitro. In terms of sport, Nitro has had the rights to various sporting events over the years, including the Le Mans 24-hour race. Football coverage has included European Championship qualifiers and the UEFA Europa League.In addition to being a free-to-air TV channel, Nitro can also be watched for free via the Nitro website and the RTL+ streaming platform, which can be downloaded for free onto iOS and Android devices. All programming on Nitro is in German.
