Ligue 1 - Matchday 32 overview

Both Monaco and PSG have games in hand after taking part in cup action last weekend. Les Rouges-et-Blancs will take on Angers on Saturday, whilst Les Parisiens are in action agianst Guingamp on Sunday. Meanwhile, Nice still are doing their best to make this a three-way race for the Ligue 1 title by earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bordeaux. Mario Balotelli was one of the goal-scorers for Lucien Favre's side by converting a penalty for his 11th league goal of the season.

Les Aiglons kick off this round first, with an away trip to Lille on Friday. Given that they don't have a game in hand, it is vital they win this in order to keep the top two from pulling further ahead. A victory for Favre's men would temporarily lift them ahead of PSG in the standings and see them just one behind Monaco.
