Matchday 15 of the Premiership will commence with coach Rafael Benitez and £50M striker Fernando Torres under scrutiny as Chelsea will play away to West Ham United at 7:45am EST.
Manchester City secured maximum points away to Wigan Athletic and will be hoping to defeat David Moyes’ ambitious Toffees. Speaking about Everton, they fell to sixth after claiming only a point against Arsenal.
The Gunners, in seventh position, will host Swansea City simultaneously. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will also feature in 10:00am EST fixtures on Saturday. The former dropped to 12th in the EPL standings after losing 2-1 to Spurs in midweek. Meanwhile, AVB’s men are recapturing top form. However, they will face a Fulham team fresh from holding Chelsea to a goalless draw.
In the evening kick-off, Manchester United may need to play much better than they did against West Ham United on Wednesday. The Red Devils narrowly defeated the Hammers thanks to Robin van Persie’s 31st second goal – the fastest in the 2012/13 English Premier League season so far.
There will be one game each on Sunday and next Monday featuring Sunderland and Newcastle United respectively.
