Harry Redknapp is determined to keep hold of his 'priceless' Luka Modric after reports emerged that Man United could be in the line to sign the Croatian.
Harry Redknapp believes that none of Spurs' star players will be sold out this summer, including the 'irreplaceable' Luke Modric. The Croatian playmaker has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as a replacement for Paul Scholes but Redknapp now claims that none of this rumors will have any end products.

"We are not selling Luka Modric, we are not selling Gareth Bale, we are not selling Sandro," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "We are looking to build a team, not dismantle one and they are players we need to keep and add to if we are to get back in the Champions League again.

"I think they are happy where they are. Like any ambitious footballers, they are looking for us to add one or two players so we can improve.

"I heard some talk yesterday about Luka Modric and £20m. £20m for Luka? They have got to be dreaming. He is such a fantastic player. We have enquired about players and are being quoted more than that for people who can't lace his boots.

"I could not put a value on him. He is one of those boys that when you come into work he is just a joy to watch. He is a great guy, gets on with the job, never complains and loves his football. He is the most low-maintenance easy to handle guy you have ever seen. He is a fantastic player and is the last person you want to see leave. He is irreplaceable."
