With all 48 spots being confirmed, all that's left is for the group-stage draw to be held. Here's everything you need to know.

With the Europa League set to return next month on September 19, all eyes are on the upcoming draw for the 2019/20 season. The 48 participants, once confirmed, will be placed into one of twelve groups during an event at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

The reigning champions Chelsea will not be around to defend their title, unless they drop down from the Champions League, as the Blues will be competing in UEFA’s top-tier club competition. However, with the likes of Arsenal and Man United vying for their European title, the odds of the trophy returning back to England are high.

However, the Premier League duo will face stiff competition. The likes of Sevilla, Porto, Roma, Besiktas, and Sporting CP are in the Europa League for the 2019/20 season. Friday’s event will decide the fate of these clubs for the group stage. Here’s everything you need to know about the draw.
