England manager Fabio Capello has labelled Gareth Bale as the best player in the world at the moment and even compared him with the legendary Francisco Gento
Tottenham Hotspur are all set and ready for a massive clash against AC Milan- knowing that a scoreless draw would take them into the next round. Spurs won the first leg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Peter Crouch and they will be hoping to put on another good show in front of their fans this time to knock out the 2007 Champions League winners, AC Milan.

Spurs' star man, Gareth Bale has recovered from his injury and is expected to play a pivotal part in the match. Nonetheless, Fabio Capello- who is a former coach of Milan, believes that Gareth Bale is the world's best player at the moment.

"He is today the number one player in the world," Capello said. "He is the only one who can make a difference in the role he plays.

"He has pace, technique and strength. Those three qualities are hard to find in a player who is not a striker. He reminds me of Roberto Carlos, who was born a left back. He was an explosive player and the only one who came even closest to Bale.

"His pace reminds me of the legendary Real Madrid midfielder Francisco Gento, who was unstoppable when he set off down the left flank - but Gento was a born winger, not a left back. He did not possess the same strength as Bale."

Capello's statement will surely add some intensity into the game and Milan will also be aware that the Welshman needs to be kept at bay if they intend to win the match.
