Inter Milan And Tottenham Dismiss Gareth Bale Transfer Rumours

Thursday January 27 2011,
Tags: Gareth Bale, Tottenham, Inter Milan, Transfer
A recent transfer report stated that Inter Milan were ready to bid £40million this summer for Tottenham’s Gareth Bale; but the rumour has openly been rubbished by both clubs.
Until now, the record for the highest offer for a British player lies at £29million. This was the fee paid by Manchester United back in 2002 when they purchased defender Rio Ferdinand—now a regular starter for the Red Devils.
