The Dutch tactician could soon pack his bags, as rumors continue to link Jose Mourinho with an Old Trafford move.

Louis Van Gaal’s reign at Manchester United so far has been nothing but a roller coaster ride, with the Dutchman failing to fulfill the high hopes the fans held upon his appointment.

Preparing his boys for the trip to West Ham in the FA Cup, the former Netherlands boss’ most recent blow was a 3-0 thrashing away to Tottenham on Sunday, which leaves the Red Devils’ Champions League hopes hanging by a thread.

Rumors continue to link Jose Mourinho to take over Old Trafford next season, with recent reports claiming that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could move to the Theatre of Dream should Van Gaal be replaced.

However, former Man United star Dwight Yorke has tipped club legend and assistant coach Ryan Giggs as the ideal man to succeed the Dutch tactician once he leaves, albeit he was referring to when Louis’ contract ends.

“I’m sure if the manager were to leave the football club after the end of his contract, then my appointment would be Ryan Giggs for sure,” said the once Aston Villa and Blackburn ace.
