Theo Walcott grabbed the spotlight with a fine display for Arsenal in a 7-3 victory over Reading.Get your printable guide – EPL Matchday 21

The biggest clubs in England all snatched victory to end 2012 with a boost of confidence. Liverpool dismantled Queens Park Rangers in the very last match of the year on a day when Frank Lampard netted a double to rescue Chelsea away to Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur, who appear as genuine Champions League zone contenders this season again, edged 2-1 past Sunderlnd while Arsenal triumphed in a 7-3 goal fest against Reading.

In other games, 10-man Manchester City survived a seven-goal thriller against Norwich City and Manchester United protected their seven-point lead with victory over West Bromwich which was marked by their fourth clean sheet of the season.

On New Year’s Day, Manchester’s two clubs, Arsenal and Spurs will be in action. Will anyone suffer a miserable party before Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton close Matchday 20 on Wednesday?
