How was it like during the video shoot of the English national team’s new Mars commercial?
The video is a bit longer than 4 minutes. Liverpool duo Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge are seen arriving with Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck. They work on timing their runs and kicking the ball against opponents wearing blue tops and white shorts.
The three English Premier League stars then playact goal celebrations and seem quite satisfied by the outcome of their acting performances. Good atmosphere, just what Three Lions coach Roy Hodgson needs!
The making of the Mars advert
For sure, Danny Welbeck has no chance of lifting the English Premier League title with Manchester United this year but hopes are real for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and forward Daniel Sturridge. The Merseyside Reds defeated title contenders Manchester City 3-2 last Sunday. They ended Matchday 34 with 77 points, two more than Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.
