Another round of South American World Cup Qualifiers is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16th, 2012. The qualifying campaign has reached its halfway point, and the qualifiying table begins to take defining shape with Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay falling into threatening positions in the lower half of the table.
On the up side of the table, Argentina have proven to be favorites to win the group. Colombia and Ecuador sit comfortably tied in second with only one point behind Argentina. Ecuador are serious challengers to top the group by the end of Tuesday's matches. If Chile get a result against Argentina and Ecuadorian win in Venezuela, it will leave the Ecuadorians isolated on top of the CONMBEOL qualifying table. Uruguay who have recently fallen into poor form, travel to the always difficult ground of La Paz; they risk dropping out of the safety zone without a positive result against Bolivia. Chile have a chance to move into the safety zone with a positive result against Argentina. The home advantage will make this the match of the night. All in all, the CONMEBOL match day promises to serve up some exciting South American football, as always!

The CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers will also serve up some exciting and nerve racking football action as the the nations play their final group match.
In group A, USA will win the group with a win at home against Guatemala. In group B, Mexico has comfortably secured first place, eight points clear of 2nd place Costa Rica. El Salvador are sitting in third, but can still advance if they beat Mexico coupled with a Costa Rican loss. In group C, Canada are tied in first with Panama, Honduras sit in third, and can only advance with a win against Canada. This should be the other match of the night. Canada only needs a draw to advance.
