Madrid giants Real and Atletico have early kick-offs on Saturday, but the latter begins the affair. Diego Simeone’s men travel to Sporting Gijon after their dramatic win over Celta Vigo which helped Los Rojiblancos maintain their fourth spot.
Zidane’s mean, who top the table by a single point, host Espanyol. The Catalan outfit could hand their neighbors, Barcelona, a huge boost by winning before Real Madrid play one of their two games in hand – against Valencia.
Luis Enrique’s side host Leganes in the last of game of Sunday. The defending champions need victory for two reasons: first, it will help Barcelona’s confidence after their 4-0 loss to PSG in the Champions League; and second, it will keep them in touching distance of Los Blancos should they beat Valencia on Wednesday.
