Le Prof gave his thoughts on the Gunners’ title hopes, ahead of their FA Cup replay at the KC Stadium.

They trail English Premier League leaders Leicester City by 8 points, sit in third spot behind second-placed Spurs, and still have away games against Everton, West Ham, and Man City: this is the uphill battle that Arsenal face in the title race.

The Gunners’ recent 2-2 draw with Tottenham in the latest edition of the North London Derby dented Arsene Wenger’s odds of ending the club’s 12-year wait for the Premier League crown.

After the White Hart Lane tie, Le Prof admitted that he did not know where his boys stood in the title race; however, speaking ahead of Tuesday’s FA Cup replay clash with Hull City, the Frenchman claims all is not lost.

With a spot in the Champions League last 8 slipping away courtesy of their 1s leg 2-0 home defeat to Barca, Wenger was asked whether the FA Cup remained Arsenal’s only shot at silverware this season.

A reporter asked: “Is the FA Cup the most realistic chance of silverware?”

“We will not give up in the Championship [Premier League]. We will fight until the end,” Wenger responded.
