The FIFA Rankings for August 2015 are out and while Argentina continues to be on the top, Chile, that won the Copa America for the first time in 99 years is finally into the top-ten. Also, Mexico, which won the Gold Cup climbed 14 spots into 26th place while Jamaica had the biggest jump moving up 21 spots into 55th place.
Chile's move into the top 10 was made at the expense of the Netherlands that fell seven spots to 12th place. Also, Belgium is the new runner-up as they have past Germany which is now in third place. Seven out of the top-ten teams moved up one spot, two stayed the same and one lost a spot.

CONMEBOL Rankings
Winning the Copa America has been beneficial for Chile. A team that continues climbing in the rankings after the World Cup. They started the year in 14th place and finally find
CONCACAF Rankings
This was a confederation that was severely shaken by what happened last month in the Gold Cup. Mexico returns to claim its spot as the best team of Concacaf, surpassing Costa Rica. The USMNT also made it into the top 30 by climbing up five spots into 29th place, despite not making it to the Gold Cup final. Costa Rica, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago also moved up. Panama went down despite its great efforts during the last month.
CAF Rankings
There wasn't that much movement in this confederation. Algeria and Ivory Coast are still commanding this region despite not moving up any spots nor dropping out of where the rankings had them last month(19 and 21). Ghana and Tunisia dropped two spots each to 27th and 34th respectively.
AFC Rankings
Most of the Asian nations may not be too pleased with how FIFA has ranked them after July. Eight out of the ten best team in this confederation slipped from where they were last month. Only Iraq moved up one spot and Jordan fell stayed in 92nd place. Many of the teams in this confederation did not play any games last month but should return to action shortly as the preliminary stages of the World Cup qualifiers have begun.
OFC Rankings
New Zealand is still the best team in this region. They have climbed up one spot from where FIFA had ranked them last month and now stand in 135th place. Most teams in this confederation did climb up some spots as seven out of the 13 teams that make up the OFC are ranked higher this month than in the previous one.
