Kane had his senior team debut against Lithuania on Friday. Rooney is not jelous of how the spotlight is shining on the Spurs' striker.

It took Harry Kane less than two minutes on the field to score his first goal for England's senior team, it has taken him two games to earn his first start with Roy Hodgson's team. The Tottenham striker will line up from the start in the game against Italy at the Juventus Stadium in Turin this Tuesday.

Kane is tied with Chelsea's Diego Costa as the leading scorers of the Premier League with 19 goals each. The Spurs forward is having the best season of his career after being named the Barclays Player of the Month in January and February. With the way things are going, we might see Kane get it a third-consecutive time.

He has been nicknamed Golden Boy by his teammates who are pleased with his performances that have the Spurs in seventh place in he league standings. Wayne Rooney, his teammate in the national team is also excited to see Kane's development. 

"I'm as excited as everyone else in the country about Harry. He's had an unbelievable season," Rooney said.

In the 4-0 victory of The Lions over Lithuania, they both scored a goal. Danny Welbeck and Raheem Sterling also found the back of the net in the same game. Welbeck and Kane will most likely be together up front.
