According to reports, the German star has become unsettled at Dortmund--something that will worry the club's fans but excite Premier League followers.

Certainly, this is not something that will please Borussia Dortmund supporters.

In the past two summers die Schwarzgelben have lost two of their stars--Mario Gotze in 2013 and then Robert Lewandowski in 2014--both to bitter Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.

However, the 2013 Champions League finalists and last season's league runners-up have still, for now, been able to hold onto the last of their prized assets, German star Marco Reus.

The speedy attacker had been on the radar of some of Europe's biggest clubs for some time, but this summer's transfer window came and went and the 25-year-old is still a Dortmund player.

Yet, he may not be for much longer. According to reports, Reus has stalled on penning a contract extension to tie him down longer with Jurgen Klopp's men.

The reason? Despite having signed former Torino striker Ciro Immobile as the Polish international's direct replacement and bringing in others like Manchester United Japanese international Shinji Kagawa back to the club, Reus apparently has been quite disheartened at the club's decision to part ways with two of their top players.

Dortmund were enraged by the revelation of Reus' buy-out clause, revealed by arch rival Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge this summer for €25 million:

As a result, having already seen two players now link up with die Roten, they will be loath to see yet another one join them. Premier League sides Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal have all been linked with moves with him at varying points this past summer and this latest news will surely garner their attentions once more.
