Villarreal vs Real Zaragoza Match Preview

Javier Aguirre's Zaragoza must stop Villarreal from claiming the three points at the Madrigal to avoid the bottom position, while the hosts are forced to bag the full scoring to keep up with Valencia in the fight for the third position. Juan Carlos Garrido's Submarines must decide whether they'll be focusing on the Europea League or the Primera Division, for if they chase two rabbits at the same time, they might end up losing both.

Zaragoza 's performance as a visitor has been rather disappointing, celebrating only one victory in 15 Liga games. Italian international Giuseppe Rossi and Nilmar will be leading Villarreal's attack, assisted by Sergio Cazorla and Borja Valero, and so it's expected Aguirre will use a five-men defensive back line to nullify Submarine's attack and rely on the counter attack to bag the victory.

Zaragoza has never celebrated a victory at the Madrigal. Kalu Uche will be the only striker, while Sad Boutahar and Nicolas Bertolo assume a more defensive stance to give Zaragoza more control over the flow of the ball. Garrido has his whole squad available, eager to celebrate a victory to leave behind the bitterness of last week's visit to the Mestalla.

Villarreal has a perfect opportunity to secure its ticket for the next Champions League at their own Madrigal. Zaragoza fights for the category, who'll succeed?
