Toronto, ON (May 28, 2012) – One of the world’s biggest sporting events is here and TSN is giving Canadians complete coverage of every minute of UEFA EURO 2012. All 31 games from UEFA EURO 2012 will be broadcast in high definition with 26 games on TSN, four games on TSN2 and one game on CTV. TSN’s coverage of UEFA EURO 2012 begins Friday, June 8 with Poland taking on Greecewith pregame coverage beginning at 11 a.m. ET. See full broadcast schedule below.

The much anticipated UEFA Euro 2012 event which takes place in Poland and Ukraine between June 8th and July 1st, 2012 is only a few weeks away. Canadian soccer fans will have access to extensive coverage of the event in live English, French, Spanish and Italian language broadcasts. All games will be broadcast in French and English as well as 15 live matches in Spanish and Italian.
The Match kick-off times will be at 12:00 Noon and 2:45 PM (Eastern Standard Time). These kick-off times will give the working crowd a chance to slip away from the office for an extended lunch to watch the EURO 2012 live action.
All the matches will be available across Canada in English and French, Spanish and Italian language. The event is sure to draw a large muti-cultural viewing audience.
TSN will be showing all the live Euro 2012 matches in English-language on TSN and TSN 2. French-language live broadcasts of all matches will be made on RDS and RDS 2. TLN has sub-licensed the Spanish-language media rights for Canada from ESPN Inc. Mediaset Italia will be airing the live Euro 2012 matches in Italian-language.

2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament
Sportsnet’s coverage of the group phase of the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament begins Thursday, March 22 from Nashville, TN as El Salvador takes on Canada at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario and ONE. Later that evening, the United States faces Cuba at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on ONE.
On Saturday, March 24, Canada squares off against the United States at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West, and Pacific. The top two teams from the 2012 CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament earn a berth at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
TORONTO, ON (March 15, 2012) – Sportsnet today announced it has reached a three-year partnership extension with UEFA through the 2014-15 season, continuing the network’s status as Canada’s home of UEFA Champions League soccer.
The new agreement features a comprehensive suite of multimedia rights including television, online and mobile, which includes the rights to broadcast 146 matches on Sportsnet. Additionally, through Sportsnet’s agreement with TVA Sports, the deal also includes expanded French-language coverage across the same platforms with a minimum of 34 matches to be broadcast on TVA Sports per season.
Coverage kicks off on Saturday, Mar. 17 at 8:30 p.m. MT / 7:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet Pacific and Sportsnet West as Vancouver visits Chivas USA.
Sportsnet’s Whitecaps FC broadcast schedule includes 16 games on Sportsnet Pacific, four games on Sportsnet ONE and two games on Citytv Vancouver. As announced earlier this year, Sportsnet named former Vancouver and national team goalkeeper Paul Dolan as the new analyst for its Vancouver Whitecaps FC Major League Soccer match broadcasts.
Dolan will join play-by-play announcer Craig MacEwen in the broadcast booth to call all of Sportsnet’s Vancouver Whitecaps FC telecasts for the 2012 season, and will appear as a soccer analyst on Connected with Don Taylor on Sportsnet Pacific.
Toronto, ON (February 23, 2012) – TSN and RDS kick off their second year as the official broadcasters of Major League Soccer (MLS) in Canada with a national broadcast package that includes 36 games featuring Montreal Impact, Toronto FC, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
In addition to producing and broadcasting 36 games featuring Canadian teams, TSN, TSN2, RDS and RDS2 will broadcast select MLS games featuring two U.S.-based teams; those games will be announced in the coming weeks. TSN and RDS platforms will also have exclusive coverage in Canada of the MLS CUP Playoffs, the MLS CUP 2012 and the MLS ALL-STAR GAME.
With two tournament victories under their belt, Canada has already earned a berth in the semi-finals on Friday, Jan. 27 (match-ups TBD); with a win or draw tonight the Canadians will clinch first place in Group A.
