European football's governing body UEFA have announced that they have filtered the number of teams under the Financial Fair Play investigation to less than 20. The body, who are investigating European clubs across the continent, are doing so in an attempt to stop breaches of the FFP guidlines. The number of teams that have been under Platini and Co.'s radar have been substantially decreased from the previous 76, from the month February.

Sky Sports reveals that English Premier League trio Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea are no longer under inspection of a possible breach of the FFP guidelines. However fellow English rivals Manchester City, and French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are reported to still be under investigation. With an estimated expenditure of £91,777,840 and £96,272,000 this season for the Citizens and the Parisians, respectively, the two clubs could be facing a breach of UEFA's FFP rules.

Though Manchester City believe to not be in breach of these guidlines, the Manchester side have not yet announced whether they are or are not in the remaining 20 clubs, leading to speculations. And with repercussions expected to be anything from fines, transfer window bans, and stripping of titles, the Europe's mega-rich clubs will need to be wary of their financial transactions.
