Joey Barton was at it AGAIN.
It was not the first time the Queens Park Rangers man had criticized other players and by the look of it, it was most likely not going to be the last.
On that occasion, Joey Barton chose to launch a scathing attack on his fellow England players, dubbing them as “not world class.” In particular, Barton singled out Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney, whom he compared to Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and concluded that there was a “gulf” between the two.
“Rooney potentially could have been world class. But then you look at Rooney, and I love Wayne Rooney… look at his approach, look at his mentality compared to Cristiano Ronaldo. Polar opposites!”said the Englishman
“If it was on talent alone, for Rooney is better than (Ronaldo). But Ronaldo has honed it. And the gulf every year has got further and further apart.”
