Some blue, some white, some red (for the jersey) and more red (for the shorts); these are the colours of USA’s 2014 away kits based on the country’s tricolour flag.
Controversial Canadian-born star Sydney Leroux, who is enjoying her international career with the USWNT, was chosen to model the colourful away kits. Quite an obvious choice by Nike as Leroux incarnates the pro-USA spirit in the eternal United States vs Canada rivalry.
Among the models for the USMNT was also Clint Dempsey. The 31-year-old Seattle Sounders FC striker can be seen from head to toe in the pictures further below.
Meanwhile, USA’s all-white home 2014 World Cup home kits were unveiled months ago.
