After grinding out a slender victory over Porto in their opening match, Galatasaray can claim the Emirates Cup with a victory over the Gunners.

Preview: Frugal Gunners could miss out on Emirates Cup yet again

Turkish side Galatasaray may have been considered the outsider going into this tournament, but after their first match against Porto, some of their doubters will now have a different opinion. They did not look all that impressive in the first half, but their physicality and urgency in the second half made the difference.

Colombian striker Jackson Martinez let them off the hook in the first half, after Muslera saved his penalty kick. Had the Portuguese side taken the lead, Galatasaray may have struggled to grab hold of the match, as they did for most of the first half.

That same persistence will be needed on Sunday when they take on hosts Arsenal, with a chance to claim the Emirates Cup with a victory.

Arsenal's late heroics in the second half saved them from a frustrating pre-season defeat. But, make no mistake about it, this Arsenal side not only has a lot of work ahead of them, but they really need another signing or two.

Lack of urgency going forward, and lack of pace coming out of their own third allowed Napoli to get back in numbers, making things very difficult for Arsene Wenger's squad.

Throughout the whole match, Pepe Reina did not have too much work to do, with the exception of one or two slightly difficult saves.

Galatasaray may see a slightly more difficult challenge on Sunday, due to the fact that Arsenal plays more of a possession game than Porto. With that as a potential advantage for the Gunners, the hosts will also have to be concerned about Didier Drogba in the Turkish frontline.

The Ivorian has proven time and time again that he enjoys a match against the Gunners, so seeing him grab a goal on Sunday would not surprise anyone.

His hold up play against Porto was sensational, and if Arsenal's defenders and midfielders do not pay close attention to him, they could find themselves chasing shadows.

With their draw on Saturday, Arsenal must defeat Galatasaray and hope for a draw in the other match, or they will at least need to win by a bigger margin if Napoli defeats Porto. This match will also be marked by the return of former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue to the Emirates.
