3. Deportivo La Coruna mauled AC Milan (2003-2004):

The 2003/2004 UEFA Champions League season was extremely tumultuous for the big clubs. Deportivo La Coruna met AC Milan in the Quarter-final; the Italian giants swept aside the Spanish club in the first leg winning 3-0.

The Spanish club had to overturn the deficit and it was no easy task. In the return leg Deportivo ran riot and won the game 4-0, their brilliant attacking display captivated the spectators.

Deportivo advanced to the semi-final having won the tie 4-3 on aggregate. No club in the 12 year history of the Champions league had qualified to the next round having lost the first leg 3-0.

2. Manchester United coming from behind against Bayern Munich (Champions League Final 1999):

Manchester United were on the brink of losing the final against Bayern Munich in the year 1999, the game completely turned on its head in the dying minutes. Teddy Sheringham and "super sub" Ole Gunnar Solksjaer scored 2 late goals for Manchester United and won the title for the English club. Contrasting emotions were seen after the referee blew his final whistle, the Manchester United players were jubilant whereas the Bayern Munich players were completely shattered.

1. Champions League final 2005, Liverpool’s resurgence against AC Milan:

Very few fans would forget the 2005 final in a hurry. It was an unbelievable game and also a game of two halves. AC Milan scored 3 goals in the first half and the game seemed dead and buried but the Liverpool players had different ideas. The Liverpool players put their shooting boots on in the second half and scored 3 goals to restore parity to the contest. The game went into a penalty shootout and Liverpool ended up winning the Champions League. It may seem to be a contrived story to someone who had not seen this game.
