The matchups for the first knockout round have been decided, with lovers of the beautiful game being treated to two juicy showdowns in particular, the first being PSG vs Man United. The iconic Argentine and Portuguese attackers will face off once more in what is undoubtedly the standout fixture.

The seven-time and five-time Ballon d'Or winners are at new clubs, with the South American joining the French giants on a free transfer while his long-time rival sealed a remarkable return to Old Trafford over the summer. La Pulga endured a rough start in Paris but has gained some momentum while the all-time Champions League top scorer took to life in Manchester like a duck to water, scoring a whopping 13 times in 19 outings so far.

Leo and CR7 crossed paths in last season's group-stage clash between Barcelona and Juventus, which the Old Lady won 3-0 thanks to a Cristiano brace at the Camp Nou. UPDATE: UEFA announced shortly afterwards that the initial round 16 draw has been declared void and will be entirely redone! As stated via their official Champions League Twitter page: "Following a technical problem with the software of an external service provider that instructs the officials as to which teams are eligible to play each other, a material error occurred in the draw for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16."
