The Red Devils will be hoping to put two poor results in the UCL behind them as they prepare to host Danish side Copenhagen on matchday three of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.

Currently last in their quartet after a shockingly poor start, Manchester United will look to pick up some much needed points when they host fellow struggling side Copenhagen on Tuesday. The Red Devils have yet to win a match so far in this year's Champions League after losing to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray, but may take some hope in the fact that their upcoming visitors have not fared that much better.

Copenhagen have failed to win their last eight Champions League group stage games, and also will be seeking to rebound in the first of two back to back matches against Manchester United. This game could also be an interesting family reunion for Manchester United's young striker Rasmus Højlund, whose twin younger brothers are on the books of Copenhagen. Højlund has arguably been one of his team's best players so far, with three goals scored in this season's Champions League and it is safe to assume that Erik ten Hag will hope that the youngster can continue his solid showings for the English giants in this competition.

The Red Devils come into this match having picked up a gritty 2-1 win over Sheffield United. Although the three points will certainly do wonders for the team's confidence, it was hardly the most convincing of performances - especially considering their displays in the Champions League this season. In terms of this competition, Manchester United have struggled at home, with losses in five of their last ten at Old Trafford.

As such, despite Copenhagen's own struggles, they will be welcoming an opponent who are unbeaten in their last 14 games on the road across all comps. However, the Danish side have yet to beat an English side on the road in European competition, with a record of D2 L4 heading into Tuesday's game.
