Andre Villas-Boas has reiterated that he will not be joining Liverpool in the summer after several reports emerged linking him with the post at Anfield.
FC Porto are getting ready to host Villarreal later tonight at the Estadio Dragao in the first leg of their Europa League semi finals. Porto have been a huge success domestically as well as in Europe this season and their 33 year old manager certainly played a massive part in it.

Andre Villas-Boas has been a massive success with Porto this season, guiding them to the league title and with Porto also still going on strong in the Europa League and the Portuguese Cup, echoes of Jose Mourinho's 2004 Treble Winning squad can certainly be heard around their dressing room.

His success with the Portuguese club this season has lifted his name among the top managers in Europe and several reports linking him with the managerial post at Anfield has now emerged. Kenny Dalglish was brought in to replace Roy Hodgson on a temporary basis last January and despite revitalizing their fortunes in the league, Liverpool's new owners are currently monitoring Villas-Boas' situation at Porto.

However, the young manager has now dismissed any speculations linking him with an exit after he was also reportedly linked with AS Roma and Juventus.

According to The Sun, he said: "There are incredible stories. Supposedly I said no to Roma because I was going to Liverpool. It's absurd.

"The speculation is natural, given what this team has been doing. But it is still false information."

This news comes as a good sign ahead of his team's crucial match against Villarreal tonight. A victory would place them in a perfect position to proceed into the final for the return match at the Madrigal.
