Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie has been labelled as the 'Perfect Striker' ahead of the clash against Barcelona by teammate Cesc Fabregas
Barcelona are ready to host Arsenal in a blockbuster game but the Catalans must have been surprised that Van Persie was included in the squad. Robin Van Persie picked up an injury in the Carling Cup final defeat to Birmingham and looked set to miss this clash. However, the Catalans were dealt with an early blow as Arsenal named Van Persie in the squad to face Arsenal.

Nonetheless, Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has now hailed Van Persie whom he regards as a 'Perfect Striker'. But even he admits that Van Persie's inclusion in the squad was a real surprise.

"Robin is a very important player for us, he is the perfect striker, he can do everything and understands the game very, very well," said Fabregas. "For a midfielder to have a player like him, it is fantastic because he gives you all the options that you need.

"I was very surprised [to hear he was in the squad] because this [Monday] morning we did not know anything about it. He woke up feeling great and said he wanted to try and practice. No-one wanted to cheat on anyone, it has been a surprise on the whole team.

"He was bandaging his ankle for training and said 'I am doing great and I want to try. Let's see how I feel tomorrow'. If he is fit to play, it would be very good."

Robin Van Persie's inclusion would have been a major boost to Arsenal who will be facing a very determined Barcelona side tonight.
