The wingman had his breakthrough season in Europe at PSV, and has also been linked with a move to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Even though Mexico wasn't able to make it past the Round of 16 in the FIFA World Cup, it seems that one footballer will claim all the benefits from their performance in the competition.

According to a report by the Daily Star and Mexican newspaper Record, Manchester United is preparing a bid to sign 22-year-old wingman Hirving Lozano, who scored El Tri's game-winning goal against Germany.

The player has caught the attention of football giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, and even if Dutch team PSV had no interest in selling the footballer, the current Eredivisie side would consider parting ways with the player nicknamed "Chucky" if some team meets the $47M asking price set by The Farmers.

Lozano is represented by agent Mino Raiola, who's had a very good relationship with the Red Devils over the past couple of years. Raiola sealed the deal that saw Paul Pogba returning to Old Trafford, and was also behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic's transfer to the English team almost two years ago.

The footballer has played 20 international games with Mexico, scoring eight goals for the CONCACAF giants. His breakthrough season at the Eredivisie saw "Chucky" scoring 17 goals and handing out nine assists en route to help PSV win their 21st title.

Financial analyst Kieran Maguire told the Daily Star that Lozano's transfer could be easy to handle by the Red Devils, and compared Lozano's contribution to Mexico's team to the one James Rodriguez had for Colombia four years ago, which landed him a contract with Real Madrid.
