Wenger's side travels to Wembley Stadium on Saturday having received positive team news.

Arsenal’s 5-1 win over Everton was a much-needed victory after their embarrassing 3-1 loss at Swansea, but all the fans know that the Gunners’ real test is coming up this weekend. New signings Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang will face a tricky opponent in Sunday’s North London Derby.

Wenger knows victory at Tottenham will gravely improve their top-four hopes, but the Frenchman has been made to sweat over the fitness of a few key players. Luckily for Le Prof, he has received great news ahead of their trip to Wembley.

The first worry was Petr Cech. The experienced goalkeeper suffered an injury in Saturday’s win and was taken off for Ospina. According to the Evening Standard, though, his knock is not as serious as initially thought and he is now in line to feature on Saturday.

The former Chelsea custodian hasn’t been in top form recently, making a costly error in the defeat at the Liberty Stadium. Nonetheless, he is a more reliable figure in between the sticks than his Colombian competition.

Another boost came in the form of Nacho Monreal. The Spaniard was also taken off in the Everton victory but is tipped to overcome his illness in time to start the derby.

The last positive update surrounds Danny Welbeck. The Englishman has been on the sidelines since mid-January but has progressed well in the road to recovery from his hip injury. Although he has fallen down the pecking order due to Arsenal’s congested attack and wings, his return will be a welcomed one.
