Everton's UEFA Europa League performance has been quite disappointing. To make matters worse, their captain caused a scrum with Olympique Lyonnais' players that could have ended in tragedy.
As the footballer looked for a cross inside OL's box, goalkeeper Anthony Lopes collected the ball. Moments later, Williams shoved Lopes to the ground, causing the French players to step up and defend their team-mate.
After the usual shoving between players, a fan got in the mix by apparently slapping one of the French side's players, causing even more problems between all those involved in the scrum.
Luckily for Williams, he was only booked for his actions. Should he have been sent off? Have a look
