Setanta Sports will offer viewers the chance to watch 3 out of the 4 UEFA Champions League playoffs (League Route) matches live.
On August 23, Bayern Munich will lock horns with FC Zurich in Switzerland. The Germans are in a comfortable position thanks to their 2-0 defeat of Zurich at the Allianz Arena last week. Zurich vs Bayern Munich will be live on Setanta Sports at 2:40pm EST and at 11:40am PST.

A day later, Setanta Sports will broadcast Olympique Lyonnais’ game away to Rubin Kazan and Arsenal’s encounter away to Udinese as they happen. Kick-off time for Rubin Kazan vs Olympique Lyonnais is at 11:55am EST and 8:55am PST. Meanwhile, the Gunners’ match is set to start at 2:40pm EST and at 11:40am PST.

Real Madrid Vs Olympique Lyonnais: We Are Confident Of A Victory - Carvalho

Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho has stated that Real Madrid will be aiming for a victory in the Champions league clash with Lyon
Real Madrid have not progressed beyond the second round in the UEFA Champions League for the last six years. However, hopes are high among the Madrid fans that they would be able to progress further this season and they need to do that by beating Lyon first.

Ricardo Carvalho, who won the Champions League with Porto in 2004, believes that they have the squad to beat Lyon on Tuesday night.

"We know the importance of this event for the club and the players," the 32-year-old told UEFA.com. "We will try to score a goal and get a good result before the return game.

Gourcuff Will Always Be Gourcuff, says Wendel

After being subjected to some heavy criticism by the press earlier this week, former teammate Wendel has come to the rescue of Yoann Gourcuff.
Yoaan Gourcuff has been the target of the French press on numerous occasions this season but former teammate and Bordeaux believes that writing off Gourcuff is a mistake.

“Gourcuff is Gourcuff,” Wendel explained to RMC. “He was especially confident at that time; everything went well. He was comfortable on the field; he had a lot of confidence. The coach and the players were behind him.

“Everyone goes through difficult times. He'll become the player who finished the best Ligue 1 player in 2009. He has not lost his technique, finesse and vision. He must continue to work.”
