Match Facts & Stats

  • Juventus have lost just one out of their last 28 meetings with Chievo (20 wins, 7 draws)
  • The Flying Donkeys’ sole win to date was a 1-0 result on January 17, 2010
  • Chievo have never beaten Juventus in Turin (ten losses, four draws)
  • The Bianconeri have won 35 out of their last 36 home games
  • La Vecchia Signora have won nine out of their last ten home fixtures against Chievo across all competitions

Juventus aiming to resume winning start to the season

The Bianconeri nearly slipped up again against Genoa, but thanks to Paulo Dybala's hat-trick were able to restore order and avoided another shock defeat. Fortunately for Massimiliano Allegri's side, they have a strong record against Chievo. The Flying Donkeys have never beaten Juventus in Turin, and overall, Juve have lost just one of their last 28 meetings with Chievo - their last defeat was back in January 2010.

In terms of personnel, Allegri will be missing Giorgio Chiellini and Sami Khedira, but has more than enough options to field a very strong starting XI. With one eye on their European committments, he will likely opt to mix things up, giving Gianluigi Buffon perhaps a rest in lieu of new signing Wojciech Szczesny.

Broadcast info - Lazio vs. AC Milan

Who's playing: Lazio have had a less than solid start to the season and the Biancocelesti will hope that the international hiatus will have done them some good as they prepare to take on AC Milan on Sunday.

What time: Sunday, September 10th at 06:00 PST/09:00 EST/14:00 BST/15:00 CET

What stadium: This game will be played at the Stadio Olimpico. Shared between Lazio and Roma, this ground can seat up to 70.634 fans at max capacity.

Match Facts & Stats

  • Lazio have a home record of 35 draws, 18 wins and 21 losses against AC Milan (74 matches at the Stadio Olimpico)
  • However, the head to head record is 63 wins for AC Milan, 27 for Lazio, and 58 draws from 148 matches
  • Lazio haven’t beaten AC Milan in Serie A since January 24, 2015 (3-1)
  • Their last overall win was a 1-0 victory on January 27, 2015 in the Coppa Italia
  • Since then, the Biancocelesti have lost two and drawn two of their last four meetings with AC Milan

Both Lazio and AC Milan aim to head into midweek European fixtures with a win in hand

Both Lazio and AC Milan are in Europa League action midweek. Whilst the Rossoneri have largely cruised through their first two games, things have not been as smooth sailing for Lazio. The Biancocelesti suffered a surprise scoreless draw with SPAL before narrowly defeating Chievo, and considering they started off the season on a high note by defeating Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana, fans will hope to see a dramatic improvement when they welcome Milan to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

As for Milan, they have been largely untroubled, with their first two matches seeing them face Crotone and Cagliari. Lazio will be a much tougher test for the team, who spent big in a quest to help them at least secure a top four spot and this truly will be a great chance to see if that massive spending will be finally starting to pay some serious dividends.
