Pep Guardiola is musing over the possibility of starting Gabriel Jesus against Arsenal on Sunday in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Manchester City's star signing Gabriel Jesus could feature in the FA Cup semi-final match against rivals Arsenal. The Brazilian has been out of action for the Citizens for 10 weeks due to a broken metatarsal.

But according to City boss Pep Guardiola, the 20-year-old is getting better, and has a chance of being part of the squad plotting to shoot down the gunners on Sunday. The Sky Blues signed the Samba Boy from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras for £27 million, and has since become a fan favourite at the Etihad.

Speaking ahead of the crunch tie at Wembley, the Daily Mail quotes Pep as saying:

"He's (Gabriel Jesus) really, really much, much better. He will take part in training with us [on Friday]. He's coming back with his happiness and we are so happy he's back again.

"We are going to travel with all the squad to Wembley, all the group, and he will be part of that. After that, we will see."

On the possibility of the fan-favourite star starting against the 2013/14 Champions, the Spanish tactician added:

"All the squad are travelling down [on Saturday] and we will watch the match between Tottenham and Chelsea. After dinner I will decide the team."
