Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp watched from the touchlines as the reds mauled Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday.

Liverpool cruised to a 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday at Anfield. The goals were scored by Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Georgino Wijnaldum, while the visitor's goal was scored by Danny Welbeck.

Surprisingly, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger started Alexis Sanchez from the bench, a decision that irked many of the club's supporters on social media. The decision to bench the Chilean goal-poacher sparked rumours of a cold war between him and the French tactician, but he was later on introduced in the second-half.

His introduction was a case of too little too late as Wijnaldum's late goal thwarted the gunner's chances of coming back into the match. Thanks to the victory, Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, is the first manager to record back-to-back wins over Arsenal in the Premier League since the 1999/2000 when Gerard Houllier achieved this fate.
