Former center back Rio Ferdinand is done with having Manchester United players posting stuff on social media as if they were leading the league.

Rio Ferdinand is all for social media, but some players are abusing their right to have fun when things aren't exactly working out for them.

The former English international was not happy with Paul Pogba's latest Instagram post, where he was rehearsing his next goal celebration with his "dance partner", Jesse Lingard. According to Ferdinand, this kind of gestures are inappropriate when the team isn't even in UCL spots.

Here's Pogba's post that got to Ferdinand's nerves.

"I'm all for having a bit of fun on social media. But when you're fifth [sixth] in the league, you're not in the Champions League positions and you're fighting... Until you're winning, that's when you go out and do stuff like that," Ferdinand told BT Sport.

Ferdinand had also criticized Arsenal players for such posts, admitting it would be "wrong" not to talk about his former club's players.

"If that footage comes out after you've won a cup final, or a league - I'd be the first one to be pushing it out. If it was me, I'd be thinking "we're fifth in the league, we're fighting for a Champions League position, we haven't got our hands on any silverware yet,"Ferdinand added.
